All carbohydrates must be reduced to monosaccharides first before they can be absorbed.

Polysaccharides are broken down and absorbed a slower rate than disaccharides.

  • Avoid trans fat, animal fat and hydrogenated oils.
  • Omega-3 in fish is incredible.
